9U Cougar Gold jumps on CR Warriors 9U early and coasts to 9-0 win

9U Cougar Gold refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against CR Warriors 9U, recording a 9-0 victory on Tuesday at Erskine.
With five runs in the first three innings, 9U Cougar Gold left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A two-run double by Jack H during the first inning and a hit by pitch and a walk by Carter N in the second inning supplied the early offense for 9U Cougar Gold.
9U Cougar Gold's Jack was perfect at the dish, going 1-1.


Tyler B shut down CR Warriors 9U while he was on the hill. Tyler held CR Warriors 9U hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five.

Ike L got the win for 9U Cougar Gold. He tossed two innings of shutout ball. Ike struck out five, walked one and gave up one hit.
Cooper S ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed one run.
9U Cougar Gold matched its one-run third inning with one more in the fourth. In the third, 9U Cougar Gold scored on an RBI double by Rowan D, scoring Jack.
